Primary Objective/Scope:  Drive process improvement initiatives through strategic consultative techniques by utilizing accepted principles and applications of established Lean theory.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

  • Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture.
  • Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside customers and vendors.
  • Conducts self at all times as the public image of the company in accordance with MOS's Code of Conduct.
  • Facilitates workshops, process mapping sessions and thorough 30/60/90 day follow up meetings.
  • Manages projects for improvement initiatives by utilizing Lean principles.
  • Organizes and leads training and coaching sessions on process improvement thinking, principles, and applications throughout all areas of the company in order to sustain improvement initiatives company-wide. 
  • Monitors key metrics of process improvement conversions and reports on those metrics to management.
  • Investigates customer service issues to understand root causes and determine solutions.
  • Supports management with ad-hoc analysis of operating results to assist the decision-making process.
  • Coordinates and/or handles various administrative duties as assigned
  • Participates in a wide variety of special projects and compiles an assortment of reports as requested.



  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Accounting, or Finance with 3-5 years business experience.
  • Skilled in organizational development consulting with ability to learn & evaluate processes in various functional areas.
  • Experience in teaching and facilitation; strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Able to plan, and to improvise when conditions render the plan obsolete or inapplicable.
  • Must possess solid analytical, communication and technology skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs – specifically Access, Excel, Word and Outlook. Visio and/or workflow management experience preferred.
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications and time management.
  • Ability to work independently, commitment to hard work and extended hours at times
  • Ability to multi-task a variety of assignments; strong attention to detail.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of information, and be very dependable due to the time-sensitive projects.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with a willingness to work well with others during challenging situations & projects.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.




Physical demands:               Minimum physical effort required.  Work is mostly sedentary but does require sitting, standing, hearing, speaking, finger dexterity, repetitive motions and visual acuity, regular application of basic skills (keyboard, eye/hand coordination).


Mental demands:                 Problem-solving, verbal communication, math aptitude, detailed work, multi-tasking and mental acuity.
